Impartiality
We hold no financial, commercial or advisory interest in the outcome of an audit. Auditors are rotated, conflicts are declared and recorded, and any engagement that could compromise objectivity is declined before it starts.
About UK Global Compliance
UK Global Compliance is an independent third-party management system certification body operating from the City of London under ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015, the international requirements for bodies providing audit and certification of management systems.
We certify against ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO 22301 for organisations trading across the United Kingdom, the European Union, Egypt and North Africa, and the Gulf Cooperation Council. Every certificate we issue is published to a public registry and can be verified by any third party at any time.
Our mandate is to provide rigorous, evidence-based conformity assessment so that a certificate issued in our name carries the same weight in Riyadh, Rotterdam and Cairo as it does in London.
Our operational charter strictly prohibits commercial management consultancy, internal audit preparation and corrective action design. We will not sell an organisation the system and then certify it. Where a client needs implementation support, we say so and step back.
This costs us revenue. It is the point. ISO/IEC 17021-1 treats impartiality as the precondition of the entire scheme, not as a policy statement to be filed and forgotten, and a certification body that consults on the systems it audits has no defensible position when a finding is challenged.
Certification decisions are made by an independent Directorate Committee whose members do not conduct field audits. The audit team gathers and records evidence; the Committee decides what that evidence supports. Neither can overrule the other's role.
This structural separation is what allows us to defend every issued certificate on the record — to an accreditation assessor, to a customer conducting supplier due diligence, or to a regulator examining a failure after the fact.
Incorporated in England & Wales and issuing certificates continuously since.
The ISO/IEC standard our own operations are assessed against, not merely aligned to.
Trade corridors covered end to end: UK & Europe, North Africa, and the GCC.
01
We hold no financial, commercial or advisory interest in the outcome of an audit. Auditors are rotated, conflicts are declared and recorded, and any engagement that could compromise objectivity is declined before it starts.
02
A finding stands on records, observation and testimony that another competent auditor could examine and reach the same conclusion from. What cannot be evidenced does not enter the report.
03
Audit teams are assigned by technical sector, not by availability. Every lead assessor holds sector-specific qualification and is reassessed against our competence matrix on a defined cycle.
04
Audit evidence belongs to the client. Only certificate status, scope and validity are published to the public registry. Commercial detail never leaves the file without written instruction or a legal obligation.
An audit that tells you nothing you did not already know was a waste of everyone's week. We report what we found, in the language of the standard, without decoration.
Every nonconformity cites the clause, the evidence and the effect. No generic observations, no padding to justify the audit days. If a system is working, the report says so and moves on.
Certificates are published to a public registry the moment the decision is made. A customer, tender board or regulator can confirm status, scope and expiry from the serial number alone, without contacting us and without taking a PDF on trust.
We audit where the work happens, at the pace the work allows. Surveillance activity is planned around production and shutdown cycles, and combined-standard audits are conducted as one visit rather than three.
